We also tested for six of the most dangerous volatile organic compounds (VOCs), known to cause various health issues, and found that our foam emitted none of them.
Cleaning the KITA Zen is a breeze, as it comes with a removable and machine-washable, hypoallergenic cotton cover.
Durability is important, and our SOLID FOAM has undergone a durability test by TÜV Rheinland LGA, which found that the mattress height only reduced by 0.16 inches after 60,000 strokes and 150 kg of force applied, equivalent to 10 years of daily 8-hour usage.
Despite being made of firm SOLID FOAM, the KITA Zen has an ergonomic design that provides both comfort and support. Weighing only 3.5kg, the foam is lightweight as it is constructed with 20% Lightweight Aggregate and 80% High Density Polyurethane Foam, which increases flow rate, reduces resistance, and lightens weight.

Durability, LGA. EN 1957:2012 clause 7.2, tested by TUV Rheinland (Guangdong) Ltd in Guangzhou, report CN210UND 001. A 1400 N roller, about 143 kg, run for 60,000 strokes, recorded on the certificate as 30,000 cycles because the roller returns. That is equal to ten years at eight hours a night. Height loss was 0.16 inch, recorded as 3.9 mm. Our guarantee triggers at 1 inch, so the tested result sits well inside the threshold we replace against.
